#PictureOfFood - These little beauties are from Blue Dot Donuts, a newish Mid-City donut shop started by 3 local New Orleans police officers. (Insert Cop/Donut joke here.) That Maple bar to the left is covered in bacon. (Insert Cop/Donut/Pork joke here.) They make over 50 flavors of donut and pump out about 3,000 over any given weekend. 

#PicturesOfFood - This is the Steak Sandwich from Vacherie in the French Quarter  (#nola ) . Considering it was only $15, and most of the po boy shops in the neighborhood charge $10 to $12 for something not nearly as delicious, it may have moved up near the top of my, ”Best Sammy in the Quarters” list.

Just to remind everyone, this is America. PinHead Moron, Rush Limbaugh is allowed to say anything he wants. In fact, he’s encouraged to do so. Having said that, Americans are also encouraged to SPEAK UP and make some racket. If someone says something you don’t like, take your dollar$ away from them. If there’s any lesson in all of this, it’s that if folks really, truly, only supported the products and services that were allinged with their beliefs, they could control how companies do business, instead of the other way around.
